Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Dear friends and family:

When I was first diagnosed, I was given 2-6 months to live.  That left us terrified, confused and wondering where we can turn.   We were directed to Pancan as a way to learn more about the tumor, access oncologists that specialize in this disease, and learn about clinical trials, nutrition, and how to stay centered while we adjust to a new way of life (which has been very difficult at times)

However pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither does Pancan.  Pancan funds more grants to help develop new treatments and someday a cure for this disease. This disease does not discriminate, and as you know it has taken the lives of some famous people including Congressman John Lewis, Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Jeopardy host, Alex Trebek.

Cancer has shown us how kind, caring and supportive people can be.  We are participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.

We are  respectfully asking you to please make a gift of any size to get us one step closer to giving HOPE. Our real goal is to help Pancan research find a CURE, and together we can.  In the meantime, I will continue to fight with Kate by my side.

Thank you for your support.
