Stepping for Una

Stepping for Una

Raised: $8,277

Goal: $10,000

Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!

We’re going to help make progress, with your support.

Our team is participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds life-changing programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. We're participating in honor of Una Walsh Connolly, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin, and friend who lost her courageous battle with cancer in August 2020 at the age of 53.

This is our second year participating; last year a team of family and friends from Boston represented the city she grew up in and loved, and a team of family, friends, and colleagues joined us in Pennsylvania, where she lived for many years. We set an initial goal of $5,000 and were blown away when we ended up raising $11,717 and were the #1 team for the Northeastern PA event. We're looking forward to walking, running, and Irish step dancing our way to the finish line in her honor again this year!

Please join our team as a participant, or make a gift of any size to get us one step closer to our fundraising goal and improving more patients’ lives. You can donate to a team member or make a general donation to the team.

Thank you for your support.
