In honor of our fabulous mom Lin Fain. who died 20 years ago from pancreatic cancer, my sister Ellen and I raised money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in their annual PanCan stride walk. Many many thanks to everyone who supported us by joining us in the walk, pledging money, and invaluable moral support. Go Team Lin!!! Every little step means progress!
We will be back next spring!
This is a national event, so maybe next year you can join us from your home town
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
News news news
I have upped the goal to $2000
Which is $100 for each year since she passed
And if we get it, I will dye (at least some) my hair purple for the event!
Feel free to join me in solidarity! We can do a group photo!

My amazing mom, Lin Fain, died Aug 2002 from pancreatic cancer.
At the time, it was the third leading cause of cancer deaths in America, with life expectancy measured in weeks and months from diagnosis. She was diagnosed just before her 61st birthday in May of that year.
Survival rate for another 5 years after diagnosis was 4%.
It is now up to 10%, thanks in part to efforts funded by this organization.
So in her honor, I am going to Catonsville Community College in April to fundraise and remember. She worked for her community college for decades, so that is fitting. :)
Please consider donating to TEAM LIN at any level to make even more progress.
If you are up for a 5k stroll, we’d love to have you on the team!
Registration is free. T shirts come at $50.
Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!
We’re going to help make progress, with your support.
Our team is participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service and resources that can make a real difference in their lives.
Thank you for your support.
Again, look for TEAM LIN
And Thanks!!!
