Phoenix NAHN Friends & Family!

In honor of our past co-founder and first president of NAHN-Phoenix, Bertha Sepulveda, we are once again going to participate in the PanCan Purple Stride walk. Bertha was a Hispanic nurse and community health activist who gave generously of her time and expertise to nurses, student nurses, and the Hispanic population. She attributed her long survival after her pancreatic cancer diagnosis to PanCan's research and cutting edge treatment. She was resilient in her struggle to the end.

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and educate about pancreatic cancer, as well as, raise money and continue the fight against pancreatic cancer. We will be walking as a Bertha's Angels NAHN Phoenix group. It is scheduled to be an in-person event, but the pandemic is being monitored to keep everyone safe.

Add your support and walk with NAHN-Phoenix!
