Welcome to our team fundraising page!

As the Cardinals head into our seventh year of working alongside the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan), it is important to remember why we began this journey in the first place.  My brother, Tyler, started this team in order to honor our late grandmother, Uma, who passed away from pancreatic cancer at the young age of 67.  After Ty left for college, my sister, Alison, worked diligently to advance the team’s work.  Ty is now a first year medical student at Georgetown University and has taken on a more senior role working with PanCan in Washington, D.C. where he continues to raise money and awareness for this deadly disease.  Alison is in her junior year at Providence College and continues to look at ways to stay involved with PanCan while in Rhode Island.  As for me, I am a senior in high school and am excited to be entering into my third year managing this team and continuing this important work.

Although we were all young when we lost our Uma, we all remember the positive aura that she carried around throughout her short battle with cancer.  It is this same positivity that we are attempting to bring to those currently fighting pancreatic cancer.

By donating, you can help fund research, provide support for patients and caregivers, and most importantly: create HOPE!  To donate, please click on the link below, which will take you to our team page.  Your donations are greatly appreciated!

Together, we can help fight pancreatic cancer in our Uma’s memory.

We genuinely appreciate any donation that you can make and invite you to join us at the PurpleStride Walk in New Jersey.

Thank you for your continued support!

P.S. As the cardinal has been a symbol that our family associates with the positive spirit of our Uma, we will continue to call our team The Cardinals.
