Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Please join us to support my cousin Darcie!  She was officially diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Valentine's Day this year.  Like most others, she learned of this very late after it had metastasized to other parts of her body.  In talking to family and friends, I was surprised how many others have had loved ones affected by this aggressive cancer.  Please join us in supporting those in the middle of battle and honor those those that have lost. Darcie is a fighter and would love your support!  

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers but this continues to improve because of research. The mission of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) is to take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge, and advocating for patients.

PanCAN's PurpleStride walk is Saturday April 30th 2020 across the nation.  It's the first time in history that 60 PanCAN PurpleStride events will happen in-person on the same day. This means more awareness and more funds to keep PanCAN's programs running so patients and families don't have to navigate pancreatic cancer alone.  The event in Portland is at Portland International Raceway (PIR).  Not in Portland but want to walk?  Look through the other locations here and when you register, choose "Team Darcie".

Even if you are not able to join the walk, every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
