Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!
As you may know, Beth lost her six-year battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer on April 29, 2022, after 116 rounds of chemotherapy, a clinical trial at NIH, five liver biopsies, Y90 radioembolization to the liver, radiation to bones and brain, all the while being an active PanCAN volunteer.
Beth never complained. She always thought of others first and was known for her kindness to all.
Though it is too late to help Beth, please consider a donation to PanCAN in any amount in order to help the existing and 62,000 newly diagnosed pancreatic cancer patients every year. The 5-year survival, though it has improved over the years to 12%, is still pitifully low. What better way to memorialize Beth but to make progress in fighting this deadly disease.
Thank you.
Ian
