Hi there friends and family.  The PanCan Purple Stride is almost upon us again.  The date for this year's walk is April 30, 2022 and will be held in San Antonio, TX.  Each year we walk in memory of my amazing mom, Nora Black. As most of you know, she was taken from us too soon by pancreatic cancer. There is not a day that goes by without me missing her, her laugh, her smile and her love. I do believe that she would want us to continue fighting for a cure to beat this cancer and raise awareness as much as we possible can. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly cancers with a survival rate of a only 10%. Even with this extremely high mortality rate, the federal government spends very little on specific pancreatic cancer research.
