Shauna was diagnosed in April of 2020 and underwent six months of chemotherapy, four rounds of radiation and one major Appleby surgery leaving her without her spleen, gallbladder, part of her liver, three lymph nodes and half of her pancreas. Shauna begged the incredible surgeons at John's Hopkins to include a tummy tuck, but they insisted on sticking with the task at hand and thank God they did. 

In December, we celebrated two full years of Shauna being in remission and we count our blessings everyday. 

However, it does not go unnoticed (or unprayed for) that Shauna's recovery would not be possible without the unwavering support of her friends/family, technological advancements, and the tireless efforts of doctors, nurses, researchers and organizations like the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. 

Shauna's story is a miracle and it's Team Talbot's new mission to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients and their families – and we need your help.
