My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023. 

I am participating in this event in honor of my Dad who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Dec 2021 and passed away in Aug 2022. Within those 8 short months, my dad endured numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation therapy and battled through the horrific side effects and complications that come with this disease. Dad had everything to live for and fought like hell to prove it. This disease is relentless and forever changed our lives.

Our team name, fishing for a cure came about because anyone who knew my dad, knew his love for fishing and we all know he is doing just that up in heaven. 

I started this team in honor of my dad because I want to continue to fight for a cure for others battling pancreatic cancer.  By making a donation to our team or walking beside us on April 29th, you are helping to raise critical funds to support pancreatic cancer research, patients and their families.
