Thank you, and welcome to my fundraising page for Pancreatic Cancer.  My Name is Tammie Walsh, I am the PurpleStride Chair for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Tampa Bay Affiliate.

It has become such a huge part of my life to fight to raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer and to raise funds to find a cure for this monster. This is a tremendous cause and is very personal to me, my family and my friends.

I WAGE HOPE for everyone who has ever been touched by this disease. I WAGE HOPE in honor of my Mom, “Sue Walsh”.  She died in March of 2007 from this BEAST.

I have witnessed firsthand how this disease destroys a person, loved ones, and families. This year alone 166 people will be diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer every single day. In 2022 the 5year survival rate increased to 11%. That is an improvement, but it is nowhere good enough. So, by donating to this cause, supports the efforts to help double the survival for this deadly disease and hopefully soon find a cure.
