I never knew anyone with pancreatic cancer until 2007 when my aunt Dolores Abeyta was diagnosed and lost her battle 15 months later. In 2016 pancreatic cancer stuck again when my uncle Ray Hurtado was diagnosed and lost his battle of 11 months.  Too many friends and family have been affected by this disease. We need to raise money to knock out pancreatic cancer.

Our team is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
