Since 2007, Team Lucille's Lighting Bugs has had a team riding in the annual Purple Ride, held every Septemer at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Minnesota. The team size has varied over the years, but our dedication to wiping out this terrible disease has not. This year, our team continues to train and is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride.

By making a donation to our team, you are supporting efforts to double survival for this deadly disease by 2020. That's just one year away folks. And know this, doubling the survival rate still leaves an awful lot of families facing a tough challenge.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate event to end pancreatic cancer.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
