Hi everyone, 

As many of you know I lost my best friend, my father Hans on August 20th to this horrific cancer. I didn’t know much about this cancer until my family and I were forced to find out. 70% of people diagnosed make it less than one year. It is usually undetected for years until it’s too late. And once diagnosed, there are very few options for treatment. The one chemo that has been proven successful is the strongest chemo given. It’s too strong for a lot of people to handle, and causes many very harsh and intolerable side effects, as it for my dad. There currently is no early detection or screenings funded. I want to live to see the day that there is no longer 70% of people diagnosed making it under one year. It’s wrong and we need to do better. I feel lost without my dad every minute of every day.  All I can do now is try my best to help make a difference in honor of my dad. Please help or share when you can. Thank you so much!
