Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team DJP Fundraising Page!

Dear TEAM DJP

In honor of our dad’s birthday (4/6/49) and one year anniversary of his short fight with pancreatic/biliary tract carcinoma with metastasis ended (4/13/22); we decided to help take steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

As you know our dad was a warrior!!!  In March our dad received the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Knowing there is no cure, our warrior made peace with the decision not to have treatment. After a one-month battle, with his wife and five children around him he left us peacefully. We will always be thankful for the strength he showed us during his short battle.  Dad is loved and missed every day.

We are TEAM DJP because this cancer is ruthless, silent, and so hard to diagnosis early.  Every dollar donated helps the fight and gives hope that another family will not lose someone they love.

PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone, and we’d love for you to join our team! Just click the Register button at the top of this page and follow a few easy steps to get set up. You can donate any amount but anyone who registers and raises $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt!

Can we count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?

Patients and families need us now more than ever.

Thank you for your support!
