My family lost our biggest limb on our family tree on February 6, 2019. It was a short 6 weeks after my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that had spread throughout the organs in his abdomen. He fought such a courageous battle up until he took his very last breath. It is our sole mission to keep his memory and spirit alive going forward and spread awareness about this horrible disease that took him far too soon from us. This year is my family's fourth year walking with PurpleStride Boston and we are so excited to continue this new tradition as part of keeping the memory of our father/husband/Papa P alive!
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
