Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

 

On October 10th 2022, my mom went to the ER because of severe stomach pains. Upon a CT scan, it was discovered she had a huge mass on her pancreas. It was a tumor. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. On November 13th, at 6:36 am she pronounced dead. That’s how severe and fast pancreatic cancer moves. 


During the 34 days of this process, I felt so helpless because there was absolutely nothing I could’ve done to cure her. But there was something I could do to honor her. 


So I decided to participate in the PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.


I ask you all to help me raise money towards this fund which goes to vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients. 


It doesn’t matter how much you can donate because anything is more than nothing. Together we can fight and stand a chance towards a cure.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
