Along with a fighting spirit, I believe I am here today because of advances in the treatment of pancreatic cancer and patient care made possible by organizations like PanCan.org. Throughout my challenge with pancreatic cancer, I looked for the silver linings during all my treatments that helped me to remain positive and hopeful. I am certainly one of the lucky ones. At the moment I am thriving and hope to give more patients the same outcome I am now enjoying.
