GRUMPSTRONG PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Hi Friends,

I am participating in the PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in honor of my husband, Dave Richardson. Dave was diagnosed on May 4, 2021 and died on May 11, 2022. Within a year, Dave endured 12 rounds of chemotherapy, had the Whipple surgery and a full Pancreatectomy, became a diabetic, completed radiation, had a celiac plexus block, underwent pain management and ultimately hospice. Dave had EVERYTHING  to live for and fought like hell to prove it. This disease is relentless and forever changed our lives.

Please join me in the PurpleStride. My goal is to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer, to raise funds that would impact the lives of pancreatic cancer patients and to honor the memory of my brave husband and his battle with this awful disease. I need your help to do this. I’ve set a fundraising goal of 4,500 – (45 because of Dave's badge number). A gift of any size to help us get there.
