Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!
Two years ago, we lost a beautiful amazing woman, friend, sister, aunt, mom and grandmama. Pancreatic cancer is a monster who stole someone very precious to us. Pancreatic cancer has a very low survival rate compared to other cancers. The survival rate has climbed to 12% over the last 2 years. Which means that 88% of people diagnosed with it do not survive five years. For most people, including my beautiful friend and sister in law, it is a death sentence. This is not hyperbole. If you can donate anything, even 5.00, that will help. PanCan not only funds research, they also help people who have been diagnosed with educational materials about what is going on with them and ways they can cope. If you have already donated Thank you Thank you Thank you. If you have not please consider donating. And if you are in the Louisville area, consider joining our team, Missy's Mayhem. It costs you nothing to join the team. So if your budget right now can't afford anything, come with us to show your physical support.
My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!
PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone, and we’d love for you to join our team! Just click the Register button at the top of this page and follow a few easy steps to get set up. And anyone who registers and raises $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt!
Can we count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?
Patients and families need us now more than ever.
Thank you for your support!
