My mom retired July 1, 2015, just after turning 65.
She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on September 29, 2015.
She died December 30, 2015.
She was the picture of health my whole life. After her passing, my heart was consumed with fury and passion to be an advocate for bringing attention to this torturous, excruciating, sneaky, most aggressive cancer.
Pancan is, more often than not, discovered after it has spread throughout the body advancing quickly, to stage 4. One percent of those survive one year. One out a hundred. That’s it.
There is no test. The symptoms are vague and appear like many other, non-life threatening conditions. Stomachache. Back pain. Common discomforts we all experience.
There needs to be more attention, research, more money for research, more survival. By making a donation to my team, you are supporting efforts to double survival for this deadly disease by 2020. Doubling the survival statistics is our goal. Keep in mind even if the number doubles, this still leaves pancan with the worst survival statistics of all major cancers.
Please imagine this all too common scenario taking your young mother as fast as it took mine. Please help all of the heartbroken, cheated, victims and family members, by sharing information about the worst cancer there is.
I appreciate you, your time, your thoughts, prayers and donations to help me, help others.
