As you all know, we lost my mom to pancreatic cancer last year. Less than two weeks after her diagnosis she was gone. My mom lived to help people, not only in her career, but in her personal life. She was born to be a nurse and loved every minute. In her final days Douglas and I did our absolute best to care for her the way she cared for countless patients and family members over the years. We want to keep her memory and passion for service alive by forming Kay Kay’s Krewe for PanCAN Purple Stride. We are asking for participation in a fund raiser and walk to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer care and research. She was proud a grandmother of 4 amazing kids and one beautiful angel who all called her Kay Kay.  Please join our team, Kay Kay’s Krewe and help any way you can.
