You may know that Allen died from Pancreatic Cancer.  What you may not know is that Allen searched and tried every treatment option available to him. He tried 2 different chemotherapy regimes (only 2 were available), surgery and a clinical trial.  He hoped the clinical trial would work, but even if it didn’t, he felt like it was the right thing to do because his participation would help the next person.
