Dear Friends,

In April, 2022, Gary Fienberg received a diagnosis that devastated all of us: Pancreatic Cancer. His family and friends rallied around him, and he acted swiftly. Gary took on 6 months of intense Chemotherapy, followed by successful Whipple Surgery at UPenn.  Once that recovery is well in hand, Gary will begin a regimen of Radiation Therapy.  His journey has had its ups and downs, but together we worked to stay positive, and counted the days until he was cured. We know how lucky we are. 

Gary is a husband, brother, father, uncle and friend- and so much more.  He is also a talented musician, performer, teacher, life-of-the-party…and now…cancer survivor. 

Here’s where you come in.

We know we are blessed.. and we want to give that hope to others. We are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Service

We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
