On November 8, 2014, my dad, Rick De La Torre, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He passed away from this awful disease just 22 months later on September 11, 2016.


This year marks the 9th year that our team honors my dad by raising money to ultimately find a cure for this deadly cancer. Our team is raising money in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by participating in PurpleStride.


You are invited to join our team, Kiss My PancreAss, and stride in person with us in a new location near Auraria Campus. Alternatively, you can make a donation to our team, and help support efforts to double survival for this deadly disease by 2023.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
