My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.  

PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone, and we’d love for you to join our team! Just click the Register button at the top of this page and follow a few easy steps to get set up. And anyone who registers and raises $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt!

Update - April 17, 2023

"TEAM SUMI" the count down is on. The 29th is almost here so dust off those comfy sneakers & bring a little "Purple" to your style & shine!

Update - April 24, 2023

DRUM ROLL PLEASE...

"TEAM SUMI" the day is almost here!

It's going to be a beautiful day ~ 65 degrees & partially cloudy... so dress accordingly.

Parking Info:

Paid public parking is available along the beach ($7-18/day - no re-entry). Additional paid parking garages are located at 4th and Colorado, 2nd and Colorado.

Our gathering spot will be in front of Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant located on the righthand side as you enter the Santa Monica Pier at 8:30AM. Once  Team Sumi family members have all arrived, we will proceed to check in.

Once again, from my heart to yours, THANK YOU * THANK YOU * THANK YOU for all your support & all the donations. Each & everyone of you have gone over & beyond to exceed our goal for 2023.

Just as a reminder, if you received an email from Purple Stride today regarding t-shirt pick ups...please save this email. Upon arriving, you will show this email to receive your t-shirt.  If you did not receive an email, not to worry...I will provide the team rooster which has each of your names listed.

The "BIG" day is just hours away & I am so looking forward to walking side by side with you.
