I run in memory of my dad, Tom Liebermann, who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in March 2014. My dad was special, and one of his favorite foods was the Tom Liebermann Special. At our local pizza shop, he didn't want chicken parm or meatballs or ziti or sausage...he wanted it ALL in 1 dish! That's how he lived life - he wanted it all!

Unfortunately, pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10% (though it was 6% when I started volunteering with PanCAN!). This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
