Welcome to Kevin’s Cancer Fighters! 

Our team is participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. 

We are walking in honor of Kevin, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in July 2022. 

Kevin was able to walk in PurpleStride 2022, and he was so happy to do so. He was extremely impressed with our team and the donation we were able to make. The support he felt was immeasurable, and it gave him so much motivation to keep fighting.

It is our privilege to walk again this year in his memory.

According to the American Cancer Society, it is estimated that 64,050 Americans will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023, an increase from 2022. Pancreatic cancer remains the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths, and it is also predicted to become the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths before 2030. 

The good news is that the 5-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer has increased from 11% to 12%, which is an all-time high! This shows our work is truly making a difference.
