The Lockton Midwest Series is taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
We participate in this walk to honor Jack Lockton and all of the Lockton friends and families who have been affected by this disease.
Jack Lockton (August 11, 1942 - March 11, 2004) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 1998 and was given a 3–6-month life expectancy. He vigorously fought his disease and survived another 5 and a half years.
Though Jack’s attitude and spirit are deep-rooted in Lockton’s culture, we would like to bring focus back to the man who is responsible for bringing us all to where we are today.
As a national leader in the fight against pancreatic cancer, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) takes a comprehensive approach to fighting pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, advocating for increased government funding, raising awareness through national community events, and supporting patients and families with valuable information and services.
PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone, and we’d love for you to join our team! Just click the Register button at the top of this page and follow a few easy steps to get set up. And anyone who registers and raises $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt!
Can we count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?
Patients and families need us now more than ever.
Thank you for your support!
