The Viegas children (Victoria, Alexandria, Tristan, and Adrianna) are walking in PanCAN Chicago to honor their dad, Dr. Godfrey Viegas. He was a loving father, hilarious friend, skilled surgeon, and talented musician and lost his life to pancreatic cancer in 2010. We are grateful for the little time we had with him on earth and seek to celebrate and honor his legacy everyday in everything we do.

We are walking in PanCAN Chicago to support the families going through a pancreatic cancer diagnosis as our family was supported 13 years ago.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
