1 Thessalonians 4:13
From diagnosis to tragic loss, poker tournaments to pandemic and back again… this team preserves through it all and that doesn’t change in 2023.
Five years ago, in February of 2018, our Becky Bates lost her battle against Pancreatic cancer after first being diagnosed in June 2017. We all rallied around her then as she fought for her life and she now watches over us from above as we attempt to carry on her love, strength and grace.
Please join us, as we put our efforts towards better survival rates and more awareness.
We will continue to rally around each other, with healing support, walking together to remember her place in our lives. Please feel free to hit the "join this team" link below to walk with us or "donate" with whatever you can to this cause.
The morning of we will "tailgate" in celebration of her life and her fight. We will have team gear and stay tuned for fundraising events.
********
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination. Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts towards pancreatic cancer survival rates.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
