Hello,

I'm taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.  This will be my 2nd year walking in my husband's memory along side my kids and other family members. 

I lost my husband on December 13th, 2021 to pancreatic cancer 5 months after being diagnosed.  He was a great husband,  father and friend to many.   He was such a happy person always laughing and telling jokes that only he laughed at because he thought they were funny but we never got it but we laughed just watching him laugh.  We miss him each and every day.

He loved his job and his work family at MIT and they loved him.  He always received a call, a visit and get well cards from his work family and that always made his day.  Even with his limited English he built that special bond and relationship from students, professors and everyone in between. 

My walk also is for those we've lost (Tirson and Richie) and survivors (Dr. Oldshue) 

I hope to see you there and have you walk along side us and Team Sunshine.
