June of 2018 is when our family's lives were changed forever by this horrible disease when my Dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He put up a courageous fight and unfortunately lost his battle just over a year later on July 29th, 2019. Not only did he fight but his entire family and group of friends stood fighting there with him because in this family, no one fights alone.
Never do you think that this would hit so close to home, until it does. Did you know that over 56,000 people will be diagnosed in 2020 and that this horrible cancer will take the lives of so many as it reaches one of the deadliest cancers to date? My Dad was able to fulfill seeing his 1st Grandbaby, Theo being born, walking his daughter down the aisle, watching his son graduate from high school and celebrate his wedding anniversary one last time with my Mom. Others will not be as fortunate to complete that much without your help to raise funds towards research.
Please help raise donations to help find a cure! Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020 and help us beat this horrible disease! #4UG #Iwearpurpleformygrandpa #inthisfamilynoonefightsalone #missyou
