Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Welcome to the GW Law Association of Black Law Alumni (ABLA) PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

ABLA has chosen to take steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Research shows that Black Americans are more likely to get pancreatic cancer than any other racial or ethnic group. We also have the highest incidence rate of pancreatic cancer in the United States. Although there are many pancreatic cancer risk factors, there is evidence that this disparity is more related to social and access issues rather than biology.

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

ABLA has set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more we raise, the bigger impact we make – and we appreciate a gift of any size.

PanCAN PurpleStride is for everyone, and we’d love for you to join our team! Just click the Register button at the top of this page and follow a few easy steps to get set up. Anyone who registers and raises $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt!

Can we count on you to get us one step closer to the day where pancreatic cancer patients don’t just survive but thrive?

Thank you for your support!
