Hi Friends and Family,

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

As many of you know on Wednesday, February 8th my dad went to a San Antonio urgent care with "painless jaundice". Hoping it would be a simple gall bladder issue, he was admitted into the hospital.   After a cat scan, he had a stent put in a bile duct, took a brushing of cells, and was hospitalized until Monday, February 13th.We received pathology confirmation of the pancreatic cancer (pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma).  He is joining the amazing team at MD Anderson in Houston for his journey and fight ahead. We are appreciate of all the love, care, and support.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
