Our team is walking in honor of our beloved Gerald M. Goolkasian who passed in 2020 to a brief and heart-wrenching battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Gerry was a vibrant father, spouse, brother, friend, teacher, artist, coach, and overall human being. Gerry lived every day with a full heart and dedicated much of his life to uplifting those around him through community service. 

We cannot think of a better way to honor Gerry than to band together in fighting for a brighter future for pancreatic cancer patients.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
