On October 12, 2020 we lost our mother/wife to her fight with Pancreatic cancer. One of the things she underwent while going through her battle with cancer was a medical trail. I remember her telling me (as one of the reasons why she choose to do it) “maybe it will help someone else even if it doesn’t help me”. Selfless to say the least. My mom was strong in ever sense of the word but I believe during her fight with cancer and in life she drew her strength from God. I asked her one day (while she was ill) “Mom what do you think about when you are going through and feeling pain?” Her reply… to my pleasant amazement “I just think of what Christ endured on the cross.”

My mom had a heart for her family and charity… always donating to someone…some organization. 

So family/friends lets walk for those with pancreatic cancer and honor the memory of our Beloved Deborah Ann Blanks. If she can use her body to help we can use our legs and our funds to help improve and support those suffering from pancreatic cancer.
