On 30 December 2014 we lost our sister, aunt and friend, Ann Nagelschmidt to Pancreatic Cancer. Ann fought this horrible cancer for almost 4 years and was in active treatment when she became septic and died. We form our team and walk every year to honor her fight and so that someday there will no reason to fight Pancreatic Cancer, the disease will be cured.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
