On March 4th, the world lost a treasure.  Jorge lived his life to the fullest, never missed an opportunity to give of himself and spread smiles and joy everywhere he went.  We were all so fortunate to have experienced his optimism, humor, kindness and generosity.

To honor Jorge, our Vicious Fishes family brewed a one of a kind beer that evokes his Cuban heritage.  When we first opened our Angier brewery over 5 years ago, Jorge stopped in to say hello.  We asked him what kind of beer he wanted and he requested an "eepa".  Ken and I looked at each other and cracked up when we realized what he was asking for.  From that day forward we knew that someday we would brew Jorge's Cuban IPA.  Sadly, we wont get to share this beer with Jorge but we will toast him again and again with Papi's Eepa.

We will be donating all proceeds from the sale of Papi's Eepa to the Pancreatic Cancer Newtork via this Team Page.  As we researched charities to support, we learned much more about PanCAN and the upcoming PurpleStride.  PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way they raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.

Here’s where you come in! We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal of $20,000 because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
