Welcome to the OCME PanCAN PurpleStride Team Page

Hi!

The Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME) team is taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at the PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.  I and other members of the team have lost loved ones to pancreatic cancer and know individuals currently battling pancreatic cancer.  It's a worthy cause and the walk is also part of our departmental wellness challenge.  

We welcome you to join our team and walk the 3K with us, make a donation, or do both.  Anyone who registers to walk and raises $50 will receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2023 T-shirt.  If you choose to donate, PanCAN uses your donation to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives patients free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.  A gift of any size makes a difference.

On One Big Day, through 60 PurpleStride events taking place across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
