Hey, there!

We are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023. We are walking in memory of our father/father-in-law, Jay, who fought a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jay was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September of 2021. He underwent two surgeries and five months of IV and oral chemotherapy. After contracting sepsis from the second surgery, he also went through two months of 24/7 IV antibiotics and spent 2 weeks at an acute rehab facility. He passed away of an unrelated cause in November of 2022. He was a caring, funny, and generous man and the rock of our family. He is loved and missed every single day.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients like Jay – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
