Hey, there!

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that! 

People often ask, why should I support PanCAN, when I don't know anyone with Pancreatic Cancer?  My Answer is always, at one point, neither did I.  This year marks 16 years since my Dad passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.  Prior to his diagnosis, I had never even heard of it.

16 years later I can tell you that Pancreatic Cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers and is currently the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States after lung and colon cancer.  

For those of you close to me you also know I lost my brother to lung cancer just this past February.  My Dad passed at the age of 60 and my brother at 56.  It will always be my mission to help other families have better outcomes for themselves or their loved ones.  

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services.
