Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Hi-

Our baby brother Ken died when he was only 55.  For about a year he was trying to figure out why he had back and gastric pain.  He was seeing doctors who gave him the typical treatments for back and gastric pain.  Finally his gastroenterologist gave him an MRI.   Once he was diagnosed, it was too late as his cancer had metastasized to his liver.  The news was traumatizing.

It is very difficult for providers to diagnose pancreatic cancer.  The symptoms do not seem out of the ordinary for middle aged adults.

We want to help figure out how to better diagnose, treat and eventually end this deadly cancer.  The research is
promising. On Saturday, April 29, 2023
we are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride.
This walk is a fundraiser sponsored by many but managed by the Pancreatic Cancer Network (PanCan).  This organization helped us SO MUCH when Ken was diagnosed.  We were panicked and didn't know where to turn.  They were INCREDIBLE.

No need to donate.  I am only letting you know...it's cathartic.  But if you do donate...please believe me that this cause is so very worthy.

Much love,

Deb and Steve
