January 7, 2018 my life officially changed. That is the day I got sick for no reason and after multiple rounds of testing and biopsies, I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I underwent the Whipple surgery on May 10, 2018 where it was confirmed that I had stage 1 adenocarcinoma. I began chemotherapy on June 27, 2018 and completed my 12th treatment on April 2, 2019. 

Since I was diagnosed, I have been contacted by numerous people who were diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  I still have numerous side effects from my treatment, but I am here and I want to fight this disease and raise enough money to find a cure. 

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
