Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

PurpleStride is the signature event of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Each year, in communities across the country, tens of thousands of people participate in more than 56 PurpleStride events, this year all happening on the same day, April 27, 2024.  These events are critical in raising awareness and funds that advance research and support patients and loved ones with a promise of a better tomorrow.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers. Merely 12% of us diagnosed survive 5 years and I am happy to say May 2024 marks my 13th year in remission.  2024 also marks our team's 12th year participating in PurpleStride and in that time, we have raised over $130,000 with the hope of raising another $20,000 this year!

When I was going through treatment the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network set me up with my own case worker as well as provided me with literature that help me and my family get through the cancer process. Asking for donations to support this cause is the best way I know how to give back. The money raised helps fund research as well as support patients.
