It's hard to believe my journey with my Mom's pancreatic cancer started in March 2010. What a frightening time this was because this cancer was only whispered about. There was barely any education, research or funding.  But I was so lucky to find the PanCan organization and Meem's Team has been walking in the Boise Purple Stride Walk since its inception in 2011. 

But what is exciting is that our nephew, Brandon McGillvray is a SURVIVOR of this cancer.  He has fought a long and hard journey, but after the Whipple surgery, he is back to work!!! We couldn't be happier for the McGillvary family and we send our love as we walk this year in the Purple Stride. 

Along with Brandon, we are walking for all our loved ones.
