Team Remembering Randy is excited to return to PanCAN’s PurpleStride in 2024!!

PanCAN provided us with valuable information and resources during Dad's illness, and we want to help other families and patients battling this horrific disease.   

On April 27, the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Network (PanCAN) is hosting its annual PurpleStride event.  This is a 3-mile WALK held in 60 locations across the United States.  In Connecticut, the event will be held at Bushnell Park, in Hartford.

Like last year, walking with our team is free and helps to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer while giving us all the opportunity to gather, honor, and remember Randy a few weeks after his 1st anniversary.

Mom, Catie, and I (Tracy) look forward to participating in this event again to raise awareness and funds to fight pancreatic cancer as well as gather to remember the most incredible husband, Dad, Grandy, brother, and friend.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
