Welcome to our team fundraising page!

On April 25, 2014, our family's world was turned upside down. Lena, our loving mother and grandma, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We all were heartbroken. She is the most loving, selfless and cheerful woman and the heart of our big family. She quickly begun chemotherapy and three months later, she had an operation to have to tumor removed. With amazing medical care, her toughness and determination and lots and lots of prayers, she got through it! She is kicking pancreatic cancer's butt!

In April, Lena's Lucky Charms will be participating in the Pancreatic Cancer 5K Walk/Run. If anyone would be interested in joining or donating to our team, that would be great. By making a donation, your money will help give support for patients, help fund research, and hopefully, help to find a cure.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
