Since our first Purple Stride event in 2011, Laura and I have collectively raised over $290,000 for the fight against pancreatic cancer. And, as you likely know if you’ve made it here, we raise money in memory of our amazing dad, who lost his 4-month battle with pancreatic cancer in 2008. While time keeps passing, we continue to feel our dad's presence so powerfully in certain moments – and the Purple Stride event has always been one of those. I hope you’ll join us in the fight against the disease that took him from us way too soon! All families facing this diagnosis deserve more time with those they love…

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
