Hello. 

Why are we walking? Why are we participating in the PurpleStride walk? Because of Nelda Bonifacio. Mother. Grandmother. Mother-in-law. Sister. Aunt. Dear Friend. Former Teacher.  She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in January. She fought. She battled. Her family and friends supported her throughout, but she lost her battle on October 3. 

My mom will never be forgotten. We will continue the fight- team Nelda will represent and support finding a cure for this nasty cancer.

Pancreatic cancer does not stop or slow down, and neither do we!

Our team is participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
